今年全球經濟衰退,金融風暴, 歐美各國更是過了一個黯淡聖誕,
新年會快樂嗎? 恐怕很多人都很不確定!
2008年改編同名音樂劇的Mamma Mia!電影,再度喚起很多人對ABBA合唱團的記憶! 20年前另一個感傷的年代, ABBA也寫下過對未來的感傷和期許更珍惜眼前、更感恩過去點點滴滴, 因為過去的一切我們才走到這裡, 還是可以帶著盼望說聲Happy New Year!
《Happy New Year》這首歌最早出現在ABBA於1980年推出的《Super Trouper》專輯內。(而且很巧的,幾乎所有精選集都沒收到這首曲子!)
ABBA這個被譽為"瑞典國寶"的四人團體，由兩對夫婦組成，兩位先生負責詞曲、樂器，太太則專職演唱，團名ABBA是取四位成員姓名的第一個英文字母組合而成。當他們成名後，唱片從歐洲席捲至美國、全世界，為瑞典賺進了無數外匯，不輸 Volvo、Saab 汽車，推出這首歌的時候是 1980 年初，正是該團的全盛時期，寫到他們從 79 年跨越到 80 年的心情。跟其他歡慶意味濃厚的應景歌曲不同，歌詞中帶點淡淡的嚴肅和感傷。(或許暗示了即將解散?)
一年後，他們推出最後一張專輯" The visitors "，並宣告解散，留下許多悅耳流暢、和聲優美的流行名曲。
